Sphere Animation, under the creative prowess of Net#Work BBDO, have brought Pepsi alive on the electronic billboards of POP TV.
Although faced with an alarmingly tight deadline, but with a concise brief from the extremely creative team of Net#Work BBDO, it was with great enthusiasm and excitement that the animators of Sphere Animation set out to create a 3D and Motion Graphics Pepsi spot for POP TV.
“Even though a job like this means a couple of ‘all-nighters’ for our crew, we really enjoy the challenge of a project like this”, said Ettiene Bosch, partner of Sphere Animation, “The fact that the project revolved around such a high profile product AND we got to work with one of the most creative agencies in the industry, was the icing on the cake! - Sphere is truly honored to have been chosen for this project and really proud of the end result. Congrats to my fellow members of the Sphere crew who pulled together to make this job happen!”
Gail Freathy, Producer of Sphere Animation, had this to say about the Pepsi project; “The concept, creative input and agency production values were such a pleasure to be a part of, and we as a crew really appreciated the consideration shown to the long hours and time constraints we faced to make the required deadline.
The creative team from Net#Work; including Yash Raidu, Brad Reily, Graydon Pieterse, Kyle Wilding, and Marcel Du Plessis, together with the ever proficient Marketing Manager of PepsiCo SA, Mr. Avishkar Rangovind, were possibly the most supportive clients we have ever had the pleasure of collaborating with on any project. - Sphere is looking forward to any and all future associations.”
POP TV electronic billboards in Gauteng are featuring the stylised 3D Pepsi characters of the DJ and Surfer - Communicating to all that the soft-drink is ‘fresh, hip and happening’ and an essential part of the summer season.
